PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washer liquid achieving both prevention of chattering (vibration of a wiper rubber by friction change between the wiper rubber and a glass face and generation of allophone) generation and breakage prevention of a coated film.SOLUTION: There is provided a windshield washer liquid containing 45 to 50 wt.% of methanol, 45 to 54 wt.% of water and 0.005 to 0.03 wt.% of a cellulose derivative and the cellulose derivative is represented by a formula, where Rto Rare each independently H, CHCHOH, CHCOONa, CHCOOK or CHCH(OH)CHN(CH)Cl, all Rto Rare not H and n is the number that molecular weight of the cellulose derivative is 50,000 to 250,000.SELECTED DRAWING: None
