PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planetary gear transmission device which effectively attains a self-lock function for various specifications.SOLUTION: A planetary gear transmission device 1 includes a planetary gear mechanism which transmits a rotary force from an input transmission element 2 to an output transmission element 3 through intermediate transmission elements 4. The planetary gear transmission device 1 has a self-lock function for preventing the output transmission element 3 from being rotated by an external force. The planetary gear transmission device 1 includes a transmission loss part in between the input transmission element 2 and the intermediate transmission elements 4 or between the intermediate transmission elements 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
