PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device, a communication system and a communication method capable of reducing communication traffic volume between communication devices while maintaining the certainty that transmitted information is received by a communication device of a transmission destination.SOLUTION: The communication device includes an acquisition unit for acquiring vehicle traveling information being information indicating a traveling direction of a vehicle, a communication unit for communicating the vehicle traveling information acquired by the acquisition unit, and a control unit for performing extension control of a transmission period of the communication unit on the basis of vehicle traveling information received from another communication device by the communication unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
