PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To address requirement for front wheels of a wheelchair easily climbing over a step regardless of age, sex, and difference in strength in the face of the aging of the society.SOLUTION: The device for climbing over a step is so configured that, when an auxiliary wheel A disposed in front of a main wheel butts on a step, rotation about a shaft for supporting the auxiliary wheel A is transmitted to a shaft of an auxiliary wheel B for lifting the wheel whole part, accordingly, the auxiliary wheel B is pushed downward, the wheel whole part is lifted, a main wheel slidingly climbs up the step, and after the main wheel climbs over the step, the auxiliary wheel A and the auxiliary wheel B are returned to initial positions by a spring provided at a central shaft for supporting the auxiliary wheel A so as to climb over the step. The rotation direction of the auxiliary wheel A may be counterclockwise rotation or clockwise rotation. Further, the auxiliary wheel A is clamped by a gear. A rope or an arm may be used as a substitute for the gear for transmitting power of the rotation of the auxiliary wheel A to vertical sliding of the auxiliary wheel B. Furthermore, a spring is attached to the auxiliary wheel B to provide the auxiliary wheel B with available capacity in the downward direction so as to facilitate climbing-over of the step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】 高齢化社会を迎えるにあたり、老弱男女、力の差に問題なく、段差を容易に乗り越えられ車椅子の前輪が求められている。【解決手段】 本発明は、これらの課題を克服するため、主輪前方に配置された補助輪Aが段差に突き当たり補助輪Aを支える軸中心の回転を、車輪全部を持ち上げる補助輪B軸部に伝え補助輪Bが下方に押し出され、車輪全部が持ち上げられ主車輪が段差に滑りあがり、主輪が段差を乗り越えた後は、補助輪Aを支える中心軸に設けられたバネにより、補助輪Aと補助輪Bは元に戻ることにより、段差を乗り越える特徴を有した装置である。補助輪Aの回転方向は反時計回り及び時計回りでも可能である。また補助輪Aは歯車で挟まれている。補助輪Aの回転を補助輪Bの上下摺動させる力の伝達には歯車に換え索又はアームを用いることができる。更に、補助輪B軸部にバネをつけ補助輪Bの下方への余力を有することにより段差乗り越えを容易にする。【選択図】図1
