PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aviation radio system enabling a radio apparatus, disposed in an aircraft, to mutually cooperate through a common configuration, a common interface and virtual processing facilities.SOLUTION: A plurality of radio apparatuses, each communicating with radio apparatuses disposed in distribution in the aircraft and including a transceiver and a dedicated processor platform, are interconnected through a digital communication network, to configure a virtual processing environment for the aviation radio system. Each radio apparatus disposed in distribution in the aircraft provides a digital interface common to the facilities in an aircraft region through PPPoE, to configure the aviation radio system in cooperation with the virtual processing environment.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
