PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an appropriate power transmission state by reducing a power transmission loss, a power circulation loss and the like.SOLUTION: A hybrid drive device 1 configured such that a first rotation element e1 of a differential gear device PG is driven to be coupled to a first rotational motor MG1, any one of a second rotation element e2 and a third rotation element e3 is driven to be coupled to an input member IN driven to be coupled to an internal combustion engine E while the other element is driven to be coupled to an output member OUT driven to be coupled to wheels W and to a second rotation motor MG2, comprises: a first engagement element C1 which transmits power between the first rotation element e1 and the first rotation motor MG1 in an engaged state, and which interrupts the power transmission in a disengaged state; and a second engagement element C2 which fixedly couples two out of the three rotation elements e1, e2, and e3 of the differential gear device PG so as to integrally rotate in an engaged state, and which permits the relative rotation of the three rotation elements e1, e2, and e3 in a disengaged state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
