PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trolley wire wear measurement device and a method for measuring trolley wire wear with which it is possible to calculate one residual diameter equivalent value in which a horizontal wear portion and a slant wear portion are taken into consideration on the basis of a residual sectional area.SOLUTION: Provided are a trolley wire wear measurement device and a method thereof for photographing the underside of a trolley wire 5 in contact with a pantograph with a line sensor camera installed on the roof of an electric train, processing the photographed image of the underside of the trolley wire 5, and finding the residual diameter of the trolley wire 5, wherein the residual diameter of a horizontally worn trolley wire 5having only the horizontal wear portion 5a that is the same in sectional area as an unevenly worn trolley wire 5having a horizontal wear portion 5a and a slant wear portion 5b is calculated as the residual diameter equivalent value H of the unevenly worn trolley wire.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7

    【課題】残存断面積に基づき水平摩耗部及び傾斜摩耗部を考慮した一つの残存直径相当値を算出することを可能としたトロリ線摩耗測定装置およびトロリ線摩耗測定方法を提供する。【解決手段】電車屋根上に設置したラインセンサカメラで、パンタグラフに接触するトロリ線5の下面を撮影し、撮影されたトロリ線5の下面の画像を画像処理して、トロリ線5の残存直径を求めるトロリ線摩耗測定装置およびその方法において、水平摩耗部5a及び傾斜摩耗部5bを有する偏摩耗トロリ線5ABと断面積が同一である水平摩耗部5aのみを有する水平摩耗トロリ線5Aの残存直径を、偏摩耗トロリ線の残存直径相当値Hとして算出するようにした。【選択図】図7
