PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power force disconnecting mechanism simplifying and restricting an increased cost of a mechanism related to a driving mode changing-over operation between a two-wheel driving mode and a four-wheel driving mode at a part-time type four-wheel driving vehicle and provide a four-wheel driving system utilizing the power force disconnecting mechanism.SOLUTION: Each of a pilot cam 55 and a main cam 56 having a first ball 57 and a second ball 58 held therebetween is arranged along the inside in a radial direction at a cam plate 53 fixed to a first shaft 51. The pilot cam 55 is spline connected to a friction plate 62 ground connected to a first case 59 and at the same time the pilot cam is biased from both sides with a first spring SP1 and a second spring SP2 and in turn the main cam 56 is engaged with a clutch drum 61 at an extremity end thereof and at the same time rotatably attached to the first shaft 51. A connecting surface between the pilot cam 55 and the main cam 56 is provided with a step D descending in an axial left side direction and the opposite side of the pilot cam 55 of the clutch drum 61 is biased by a third spring SP3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】パートタイム式4輪駆動車における2輪駆動モードと4輪駆動モードとの間の駆動モード切換に係る機構を単純化しコスト高を抑制する動力切断機構及びそれを利用した4輪駆動システムを提供する。【解決手段】第1シャフト51に固定されたカムプレート53に、第1及び第2ボール57,58を間に挟みパイロットカム55及びメインカム56を径方向内側に沿ってそれぞれ設ける。パイロットカム55は、第1ケース59に接地されたフリクションプレート62にスプライン結合させると共に第1及び第2スプリングSP1,SP2によって両側から付勢する一方、メインカム56は先端部においてクラッチドラム61と係合させると共に第1シャフト51に回動自由に取り付ける。パイロットカム55とメインカム56との接合面に軸方向左側に下る段差Dを設け、クラッチドラム61のパイロットカム55の反対側は第3スプリングSP3によって付勢する。【選択図】図2
