PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a power-assisted carrier takes a long time until the carrier is operated again to avoid an obstacle because the carrier has to be stopped in the case of detecting the obstacle.SOLUTION: A power-assisted carrier 1 includes a carrier having an operating handle and wheels; two or more motors 12 for driving the wheels of the carrier; an operation force acquisition part 11 for acquiring operation force of the operating handle; a control part 14 for controlling the two or more motors 12 in accordance with the operation force; and a sensor 13 for acquiring distance to an obstacle. The control part 14 performs control so as to reduce the torque of the motors 12 in the direction in which the carrier approaches the obstacle and not to reduce the torque of the motors 12 in the rotating direction of the carrier in the case that the sensor 13 detects the obstacle. As a result, in the case that the obstacle is detected, a user can avoid the obstacle by turning the carrier with light force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】パワーアシスト台車において、障害物が検知された場合には台車が停止することになり、再度、台車を動作させて障害物を回避するまでの時間が長くなるという問題があった。【解決手段】パワーアシスト台車1は、操作用ハンドル及び車輪を有する台車、台車の車輪を駆動する2以上のモータ12、操作用ハンドルの操作力を取得する操作力取得部11、その操作力に応じて2以上のモータ12を制御する制御部14、障害物までの距離を取得するセンサ13を備える。制御部14は、センサ13によって障害物が検知された場合に、台車が障害物に近づく方向のモータ12のトルクを低減し、台車の旋回方向のモータ12のトルクを低減しないように制御する。その結果、障害物が検知された場合に、ユーザは、軽い力で台車を旋回させることによって、障害物を回避することができる。【選択図】図2
