PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation method of an auxiliary trolley capable of easily installing the auxiliary trolley to a polar crane inside a nuclear reactor containment vessel.SOLUTION: Four sets of a telescopic type heavy load lifting device 4 are assembled to oppose each other on a work floor 3 inside a nuclear reactor containment vessel 1. A jack receiving beam 5 is stretched between tops of the heavy load lifting device 4. The jack receiving beams 5 is installed with a lifting stage 7 via a wire jacking device. An auxiliary trolley 15 is installed on a turning base 14 by a polar crane 2. The lifting stage 7 is lifted together with the wire jacking device by the heavy load lifting device 4, and an auxiliary trolley 15 is lifted above the polar crane 2 together with a turning base 14 by a lifter 8. After the auxiliary trolley 15 is horizontally rotated by the turning base 14, the auxiliary trolley 15 is lowered on the polar crane 2 by the lifter 8, and the auxiliary trolley 15 is installed on the polar crane 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
