PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a vehicle collision performance, and to secure a sufficient space for an onboard battery by making effective use of a space.SOLUTION: The onboard battery comprises: a plurality of battery modules 3 each having a plurality of battery cells 11 disposed therein; and an accommodation case 2 accommodating therein the plurality of battery modules, at least three battery modules are provided and at least two battery modules are disposed in a two-stage state where one is an upper battery module and the other is a lower battery module, at least two battery modules are disposed to be longitudinally aligned, one battery module is disposed on an extreme front side, and a portion of the battery module disposed on the extreme front side and a portion of the accommodation case are placed in a space 300 which is surrounded by a backrest 102 of a rear seat 100 and inclined sections 201a and 201b of a floor panel 201.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
