PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crossing obstacle detection device in which detection performance is improved.SOLUTION: The crossing obstacle detection device includes first detection means 10, second detection means 20, and an arithmetic processing unit 30. The first detection means and the second detection means detect an obstacle in an obstacle detection region by different detection methods or by sensing from different directions. The arithmetic processing unit includes: a first determination part 31 for determining a detection level of each detection section, when the obstacle detection region of the first detection means is equally divided, by using a lower threshold value and an upper threshold value; a second determination part 32 for determining a detection level of each detection section of the second detection means by using the lower threshold value and the upper threshold value; and a last determination part 34 for determining that there is a detected object in the obstacle detection region based on the determination result of each detection section of the first detection part and the determination result of each detection section of the second detection part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】検知性能が向上された踏切障害物検知装置を提供する。【解決手段】第1検知手段10および第2検知手段20と演算処理装置30とを有する。第1検知手段および第2検知手段は、障害物検知領域の障害物を互いに異なる検知方式もしくは異なる方向からのセンシングで検知する。演算処理装置は、第1検知手段の障害物検知領域を等分割した場合の検知区間ごとの検知レベルに対して下側閾値と上側閾値とを用いて検知レベルを判定する第1判定部31と、第2検知手段の検知区間ごとの検知レベルに対して下側閾値と上側閾値とを用いて検知レベルを判定する第2判定部32と、第1判定部の検知区間ごとの判定結果および第2判定部の検知区間ごとの判定結果にもとづいて、障害物検知領域に検知物があると判定する最終判定部34とを有する。【選択図】図1
