PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power receiving device that is able to decrease an area where magnetic field density increases, during power transmission in a power transmission system.SOLUTION: A power receiving device comprises a rectangular core 260 in a plan view including a projection part 260p in a central area; and an annular coil arranged around the projection part 260p. The core 260 includes: an outside core 260X in which a plurality of outside plate-like ferrite cores 260A are annularly aligned; and an inside core 260Y the outer-peripheral-edge area of which is arranged so as to overlap the inner-peripheral-edge area of an outside core 260X and in which a plurality of inside plate-like ferrite cores 260B are aligned in a matrix. The inside plate-like ferrite core 260B composing a corner part of the inside core 260Y is arranged such that an outer peripheral edge area including edges except the corner part C10 overlaps the inner-peripheral-edge area of the outside core 260X.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
