PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquefied gas carrying vessel capable of setting a gas pressure of the downstream side of a compressor in a required range against a rapid load fluctuation of an engine.SOLUTION: A liquefied gas carrying vessel having an engine in which a gas is used as a fuel comprises: a vaporized gas line guiding a naturally vaporized gas to a compressor; a compressed gas supply line guiding the gas from the compressor to the engine; a return line for returning the gas of the compressed gas supply line to a tank; a controller controlling the compressor and a return valve; and an input unit switching a control mode to a steady control mode and a high-speed response mode. The controller controls the discharge amount of the compressor when in the steady control mode so that the gas pressure of the compressed gas supply line becomes a set pressure. When the control mode is switched to the high-speed mode (S2), while keeping the gas pressure of the compressed gas supply line to be a set pressure, the controller increases the discharge amount of the compressor and the opening rate of the return valve (S4), and then controls the opening rate of the return valve so that the gas pressure of the compressed gas supply line becomes the set pressure (S5).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】エンジンの急激な負荷変動に対して圧縮機下流側のガス圧を要求範囲内に収める液化ガス運搬船を提供する。【解決手段】燃料としてガスを使用するエンジンを備えた液化ガス運搬船において、自然気化したガスを圧縮機に導く気化ガスラインと、圧縮機からエンジンにガスを導く圧縮ガス供給ラインと、圧縮ガス供給ラインのガスをタンクに返送する返送ラインと、圧縮機及び返送バルブを制御する制御装置と、制御モードを定常制御モードと高速応答モードと切り換える入力装置を備え、制御装置は、定常制御モードにあるとき、圧縮ガス供給ラインのガス圧が設定圧になるように圧縮機の吐出量を制御し、制御モードが高速応答モードに切り換えられたときにS2、圧縮ガス供給ラインのガス圧を設定圧に維持しながら、圧縮機の吐出量及び返送バルブの開度を増大させS4、その後、圧縮ガス供給ラインのガス圧が設定圧になるように返送バルブの開度を制御するS5。【選択図】図4
