PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument panel reinforcement which enables improvement of the collision performance against a small overlap collision to achieve further improvement of the rigidity.SOLUTION: A cylindrical instrument panel reinforcement 1 is disposed along a vehicle width direction in an instrument panel of a vehicle and includes: a large diameter part 11 supporting a steering column; a small diameter part 13 having an outer diameter smaller than that of the large diameter part 11 and being thinner than the large diameter part 11; and an intermediate part 12 disposed between the large diameter part 11 and the small diameter part 13. The intermediate part 12 is integrally formed with the large diameter part 11 and has an outer diameter smaller than that of the large diameter part 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
