PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular control unit capable of immediately decreasing a backing vehicle speed of a vehicle when the vehicle is backing in a D range.SOLUTION: When a shift range is set to a D range, whether a vehicle is backing, that is, a vehicle is backing in the D range is decided. If a decision is made that the vehicle 1 is backing in the D range, decrease facilitation control is performed. During the decrease facilitation control, for example, a braking force is automatically applied from each brake to a wheel irrespective of whether a manipulation is performed on a brake pedal (automatic brake activation). Accordingly, a decrease in the backing vehicle speed of the vehicle is facilitated, and the backing vehicle speed can be immediately decreased.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7

    【課題】車両がDレンジ後退しているときに、車両の後退車速を速やかに低下させることができる、車両用制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】シフトレンジがDレンジであるときに、車両が後退しているか否か、つまり車両がDレンジ後退しているか否かが判定される。そして、車両1がDレンジ後退していると判定された場合には、低下促進制御が実行される。低下促進制御では、たとえば、ブレーキペダルの操作と無関係に、各ブレーキから車輪に制動力が自動的に付与される(自動ブレーキ作動)。これにより、車両の後退車速の低下が促進され、後退車速を速やかに低下させることができる。【選択図】図7
