PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal blower which can secure hydrostatic pressure even if a Wind angle is small.SOLUTION: A centrifugal blower 6 comprises: a centrifugal multi-blade fan 35 which has a plurality of pieces of blades around a rotating shaft 35A, and blows out air sucked from an axial direction of the rotating shaft 35A in a centrifugal direction; and a scroll casing 6c which accommodates the centrifugal multi-blade fan 35, and has a plurality of air flow passages. Then, each of the air flow passages of the scroll casing 6C includes: a tongue part 30 in which a distance between an external periphery of the centrifugal multi-blade fan 35 and itself becomes the shortest; a first scroll part 31 which directly receives air blown out of the centrifugal multi-blade fan 35, and in which a flow passage cross section area is increased along a rotation direction of the centrifugal multi-blade face 35 with the tongue part 30 as a starting point; and a diffuser 36 connected to the first scroll part 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5

    【課題】巻き角が小さい場合でも静圧を確保し得る遠心式送風機を提供する。【解決手段】遠心式送風機6は、回転軸35A周りに複数枚の翼を有し、回転軸35Aの軸方向から吸入した空気を遠心方向に吹き出す遠心式多翼ファン35と、遠心式多翼ファン35を収納し、かつ複数の空気流路を有するスクロールケーシング6Cと、を備える。そして、スクロールケーシング6Cの各空気流路は、遠心式多翼ファン35の外周との距離が最も短くなる舌部30と、遠心式多翼ファン35から吹き出された空気を直接受けとめて、かつ、舌部30を始点として遠心式多翼ファン35の回転方向に沿って流路断面積が増大する第1スクロール部31と、第1スクロール部31とつながるディフューザ36と、を含んで構成される。【選択図】図5
