PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle information recording system and a vehicle information recording program capable of associating vehicle information with any of a plurality of road sections even when the road sections similar in shape are present.SOLUTION: A vehicle information recording system comprises: a first recording unit 21a recording vehicle information during a high self-confidence-degree period which is a period in which a self-confidence degree of a current position is equal to or higher than a predetermined criterion in map matching and a road section where the current position is present in the high self-confidence-degree period so as to associate the vehicle information with the road section; a second recording unit 21b recording vehicle information in a low self-confidence-degree period which is a period in which the self-confidence degree is lower than the predetermined criterion; a candidate-section acquisition unit 21d acquiring candidate sections for a road section where the vehicle has traveled in the low self-confidence-degree period; and a third recording unit 21c identifying the road section where the vehicle has traveled in the low self-confidence-degree period from among the plurality of candidate sections, and recording the identified road section and the vehicle information in the low self-confidence-degree period so as to associate the identified road section with the vehicle information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
