PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent excessive prolongation of time required for a bypass switch element to be turned on, when an output current of a voltage converter is in a state of exceeding a current threshold.SOLUTION: A vehicular power supply controller comprises: a first power storage part in which an upper limit voltage is set to a first voltage value; a second power storage part in which an upper limit voltage is set to a second voltage value higher than the first voltage value, and which can be charged/discharged faster than the first power storage part; and a control part which, when an output current of a voltage converter exceeds a predetermined current threshold in an OFF state of a bypass switch element, stops power generation of a power generator, and when a voltage of the second power storage part decreases to a predetermined transition voltage value close to the first voltage value, turns on the bypass switch element and resumes power generation of the power generator. When temperature of the first power storage part is not more than a first temperature threshold which is predetermined to be a value lower than normal temperature, the control part sets the upper limit voltage of the second power storage part to a third voltage value which is higher than the first voltage value and lower than the second voltage value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】電圧変換器の出力電流が電流閾値を超えた状態になったときに、バイパススイッチ素子がオンにされるまでの移行時間が過度に長くならないようにする。【解決手段】車両用電源制御装置は、上限電圧が第1電圧値に設定された第1蓄電部と、上限電圧が第1電圧値より高い第2電圧値に設定され、第1蓄電部より急速な充放電が可能な第2蓄電部と、バイパススイッチ素子がオフの状態で、電圧変換器の出力電流が予め定められた電流閾値を超えると発電機の発電を停止させ、第2蓄電部の電圧が予め定められた第1電圧値に近い移行電圧値に低下するとバイパススイッチ素子をオンにして発電部の発電を再開させる制御部と、を備える。制御部は、第1蓄電部の温度が、常温より低い値に予め定められた第1温度閾値以下の場合には、第2蓄電部の上限電圧を、第1電圧値より高く、かつ第2電圧値より低い第3電圧値に設定する。【選択図】図1
