PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery protection device of a vehicle which maintains a proper temperature of a battery under a high temperature atmosphere even if electric power is supplied thereto.SOLUTION: A battery protection device 3 includes: a battery case 30 coated by a high heat insulation structure including a vacuum heat insulation layer 31; and a heat pipe cycle 34 passing through the battery case 30 and allowing a refrigerant to circulate. The heat pipe cycle 34 has: a heat radiation part 34a; a heat absorption part 34b; and circulation passages 34c and 34d.
