PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque transmission joint 15a capable of reducing thrust force transmitted between an output shaft 12a of an electric motor 8 and a worm shaft 6a without generating any irregular sound.SOLUTION: In this invention, a buffer member 18a of elastic material is assembled between a driving side transmitting member 16a supported at an output shaft 12a and a driven side transmitting member 17a supported at a worm shaft 6a. Held parts 33a, 33b constituting the buffer member 18a are present between the peripheral side surface of a driving side arm part 21a constituting a driving side transmission member 16 and a peripheral side surface of a driven side arm part 23a constituting the driven side transmitting member 17a. The buffer member 18a is integrally formed with a damper 26 and the damper 26 is elastically held between the extremity end surface of the output shaft 12a and a base end surface of the worm shaft 6a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】異音を発生させることなく、電動モータ8の出力軸12aとウォーム軸6aとの間で伝達されるスラスト力を低減できるトルク伝達用継手15aが提供される。【解決手段】出力軸12aに支持した駆動側伝達部材16aと、ウォーム軸6aに支持した被駆動側伝達部材17aとの間に、弾性材製の緩衝部材18aが組み込まれる。緩衝部材18aを構成する被挟持部33a、33bが、駆動側伝達部材16を構成する駆動側腕部21aの円周方向側面と被駆動側伝達部材17aを構成する被駆動側腕部23aの円周方向側面との間に介在する。緩衝部材18aにはダンパ部26が一体的に設けられており、ダンパ部26は、出力軸12aの先端面とウォーム軸6aの基端面との間で弾性的に挟持される。【選択図】図1
