PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an erroneous detection preventing method in submergence and an erroneous detection preventing device in submergence of an electronic control device which can prevent erroneous detection of an atmospheric pressure caused by the submergence.SOLUTION: A temperature in a waterproof case 3 is measured. When the temperature in the waterproof case 3 rapidly changes, it is determined that an electronic control device 1 is submerged and an atmospheric pressure sensor 5 erroneously detects, and an average value of detection values before submergence is used as a detection value of the atmospheric pressure sensor 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
