PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shared-vehicle management apparatus and a shared-vehicle management method, which are capable of improving the usage ratio of a shared vehicle.SOLUTION: A shared-vehicle management apparatus 10, for use in managing plural shared vehicles V1-Vn that are shared among plural users during a portion of business hours in a day, includes: storage means 13 (a database) for storing a drive energy residual amount of an individual shared-vehicle and an actual value of a drive energy consumption amount of the individual shared-vehicle; estimation means for calculating a drive energy consumption estimation value of the individual shared-vehicle required until an end of the business hours on the basis of at least the actual value of the drive energy consumption amount of the shared-vehicle; and generation means for determining whether a present drive energy residual amount of the individual shared-vehicle is equal to or less than a total value of the drive energy consumption estimation value and a charging lower limit value, and generating a charge process plan for a shared-vehicle in which the present drive energy residual amount is equal to or less than the total value, the plan to perform the charge process in outside the business hours and/or therein.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1B
