PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle component dielectric breakdown diagnosis system and method thereof capable of selecting a faulty component, which suffers dielectric breakdown, when a high-voltage battery controller cooperates with all high-voltage component controllers of a vehicle, upgrading efficiency in maintenance, and preventing incorrect maintenance.SOLUTION: A vehicle component dielectric breakdown diagnosis system having an intra-vehicle system that includes high-voltage components includes a battery pack 200 that feeds a high voltage to a vehicle, a high-voltage relay 300 that is coupled to an output stage of the battery pack 200, a high-voltage component controller 400 that is coupled to an output stage of the high-voltage relay 300 and controls the on or off states of the high-voltage components, and a battery management system 100 that is interlocked with the battery pack 200, high-voltage relay 300, and high-voltage component controller 400, and diagnoses presence or absence of dielectric breakdown of the high-voltage component on each of the input stages of the battery pack 200 and high-voltage component controller 400.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
