PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce meandering generated in a railway vehicle underfloor which may cause noise, ballast scattering or the like generated during traveling of a railway vehicle.SOLUTION: In the underfloor of a railway vehicle 1, a blower 3 is provided as meandering reducing means having a blowing port installed to face the downstream side of the railway vehicle 1 in a traveling direction (P), flowing in the underfloor of the railway vehicle 1 is made faster by air blown from the blowing port, and the speed distributions of the flowing in the underfloor of the railway vehicle 1 and flowing in the side of the railway vehicle 1 are made uniform. Thus, the generation of a vortex is suppressed to reduce meandering, thereby reducing noise or ballast scattering or the like generated during the traveling of the railway vehicle 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】鉄道車両の走行中に発生する騒音やバラスト飛散等の原因と考えられる、鉄道車両の床下に発生する蛇行流れを低減する方法を提供する。【解決手段】鉄道車両1の床下に、送風口を鉄道車両1の走行方向(P)の下流側に向けて設置した、蛇行流れ低減手段としての送風機3を設け、送風口からの送風により、鉄道車両1の床下流れを速めて、鉄道車両1の床下流れと鉄道車両1の側方流れの速度分布を均一にし、これにより、渦流の発生を抑制して、蛇行流れを低減し、かくして、鉄道車両1の走行中に発生する騒音やバラスト飛散等を低減する。【選択図】図1
