PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for enhancing drainage of a fuel cell mounted on a mobile.SOLUTION: A fuel cell system 100 is mounted on a fuel cell vehicle 110, and includes a control unit 10, a fuel cell 20, an anode gas supply unit 50, and an inclination angle detector 70. The anode gas supply unit 50 circulates gas remaining in the anode side gas channel of the fuel cell 20 and piping 51, 61, 63, as scavenging-gas, by driving a hydrogen circulation pump 64. The scavenge unit 15 of the control unit 10 performs second scavenge control, when an inclination angle acquired by the inclination angle detector 70 is such an angle that an anode side outlet of the fuel cell 20 faces upward in a gravity direction. In the second scavenge control, the hydrogen circulation pump 64 is driven with a first number of revolutions Rin a first period P, and then the number of revolutions of the hydrogen circulation pump 64 is increased to a second number of revolutions Rin the first period P.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
