PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fork lift that can extend cargo handling operation time.SOLUTION: The fork lift A includes a controller 5 that energizes a relay 7 to operate the relay and switch power source to a standby power source (lithium ion battery 6) from a main power supply (lead storage battery 3) when power storage remaining amount calculation means 52 detects that a terminal voltage of the lead storage battery 3 is lower than a lower limit value (38 V, for instance) in a substantially no-load state. Thus, a cargo handling operation is not interrupted and the cargo handling operation time per day for the fork lift A can be extended.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】荷役作業時間を延ばすことができるフォークリフトの提供。【解決手段】フォークリフトAは、略無負荷時における鉛蓄電池3の端子電圧が下限値(例えば38V)未満に低下したことを蓄電残量算出手段52が検知すると、制御器5がリレー7に通電してリレーを作動させ、電力源を主電源(鉛蓄電池3)から予備電源(リチウムイオン電池6)に切り替える。これにより、荷役作業が中断されないとともに、フォークリフトAの稼働可能な1日当たりの荷役作業時間を延ばすことができる。【選択図】図1
