PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shock absorption member capable of favorably ensuring desired shock absorption performance while being capable of effectively achieving a sufficient weight saving.SOLUTION: A shock absorption member 10 made of a one-body resin molding comprises: a stepped cylindrical wall part 12 in which similar shaped cylindrical parts 14a to 14c with a gradually increasing outer shape are coaxially arranged in an axial direction, fellow ends of cylindrical parts 14a and 14b; 14b and 14c adjoining each other are integrally connected with respective annular step parts 16 in between, and a pressure receiving part 18 is provided at an aperture of the cylindrical part 14a which is a smallest in outer shape; and a plurality of ribs 30 extending in an axial direction along an inner surface of the stepped cylindrical wall part 12 to an edge face of an end on the opposite side of the pressure receiving part 18 of the stepped cylindrical wall part 12 in an inner space 28 surrounded by the stepped cylindrical wall part 12 and the pressure receiving part 18, the plurality of ribs 30 being independently provided in an inner peripheral direction of the stepped cylindrical wall part 12 at prescribed intervals.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】充分な軽量化を効果的に達成することが出来ると共に、所望の衝撃吸収性能を有利に確保することが出来る衝撃吸収部材を提供すること。【解決手段】一体樹脂成形品からなる衝撃吸収部材10であって、外形形状が順次大きくなる相似形状を呈する筒状部14a〜14cが、軸方向に同軸的に配置されて、互いに隣り合う筒状部14a、14b;14b、14cの端部同士が、それぞれ環状の段部16を介して一体的に連結されてなると共に、外形形状が最も小さい筒状部14aの開口部に受圧部18が設けられてなる構造の段付き筒状壁部12を有し、且つ段付き筒状壁部12と受圧部18とによって囲まれた内側空間28内において、段付き筒状壁部12の内面に沿って軸方向に延び、段付き筒状壁部12の受圧部18とは反対側の端部の端面に至る複数のリブ30を、段付き筒状壁部12の内周方向において所定の間隔を隔てて独立して一体的に設けて、構成した。【選択図】図4
