PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust structure for an outboard engine that can provide improvement in exhaust performance and the like while substantially enhancing propeller efficiency.SOLUTION: In the exhaust structure for an outboard engine, an exhaust gas from an engine is discharged into water by passing through a propeller boss 56 connected to a propeller shaft 18 via a lower unit 13. A front end part of the propeller boss 56 and a rear end part of a gear case 13A in the lower unit 13 are arranged while overlapping each other in an axial direction and the front end part of the propeller boss 56 is set so as to be superposed on the rear end part of the gear case 13A from the outside.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
