PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical axis adjustment device for a headlight, which is able to adjust an optical axis more accurately.SOLUTION: Inclination of a vehicle body is determined on the basis of a front-wheel load and a rear-wheel load, and an optical axis is adjusted on the basis of it. The front-wheel load and the rear-wheel load are parameters that change in correspondence with a change in inclination of the vehicle body. Even if the entire height of the vehicle body is changed as in a case of low down, the front-wheel load and the rear-wheel load do not change unless the vehicle body inclines. Therefore, erroneous correction of an optical axis as in optical axis adjustment on the basis of an amount of change in the height of the rear wheel axle can be reduced. 【課題】より正しく光軸調整を行うことが可能なヘッドライトの光軸調整装置を提供する。【解決手段】前輪荷重と後輪荷重とに基づいて車体の傾きを判定し、それに基づいて光軸調整を行う。前輪荷重と後輪荷重は、車体の傾きの変化に対応して変化するパラメータであり、ローダウンさせた場合のように車体の高さ全体を変化させた場合であっても、車体の傾きがなければ、前輪荷重と後輪荷重は変化しない。したがって、後輪車軸の高さ位置の変化量に基づいて光軸調整を行う場合のような光軸の誤補正を抑制することが可能となり、光軸調整装置100をより正しく光軸調整を行うことが可能なものとすることが可能となる。【選択図】図1
