PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid pressure generator that can improve layout performance in the case of using an endless transmission member.SOLUTION: A fluid pressure generator that can generate brake fluid pressure by moving a second piston by driving an electric motor 61 comprises a substrate 10 to which the electric motor 61 is attached. The fluid pressure generator comprises: a driving-side pulley 62 which connects to a rotary shaft 61b of the electric motor 61; and an output member 63 which has a center shaft L2 parallel to a center shaft L4 of the driving-side pulley 62 and drives the second piston in interlock with the driving-side pulley 62. Across the driving-side pulley 62 and the output member 63 is hung a belt 64. An electric wiring portion 74 extending from the electric motor 61 is arranged to pass through a region R surrounded by the belt 64.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
