PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continue an external power supply even in the case of detecting abnormality in a sensor for use in measuring power to be externally supplied.SOLUTION: A control method is for an external power supply system for externally supplying power using a fuel cell and a secondary battery incorporated in a vehicle. In the case of detecting abnormality in a sensor for use in measuring power to be externally supplied from a power line capable of interconnecting the fuel cell and secondary battery, (a) if a decrease in a power storage amount of the secondary battery is detected, the external power supply is performed with a generation amount of the fuel cell increased so as to stop the decrease in the power storage amount, whereas (b) if an increase in the power storage amount is detected, the external power supply is performed with a generation amount of the fuel cell decreased so as to stop the increase in the power storage amount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
