PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device for an electric winch that can safely recover regenerative power while making a free fall movement.SOLUTION: A driving device comprises: an AC motor 16; a DC power supply 30; an inverter 32; a voltage step-down circuit 34 interposed between the inverter 32 and the DC power supply 30; a stationary driving circuit 36 that is provided in parallel with the voltage step-down circuit 34 and can be switched between a permission state where flowing of currents from the inverter 32 into the DC power supply 30 is permitted by bypassing the voltage step-down circuit 34 and an inhibition state where the flowing is inhibited; and a free fall control portion. The free fall control portion, when rotation speed in winding-down direction of the AC motor 16 exceeds voltage step-down determination speed and when receiving an instruction to brake a winch drum, brings the stationary driving circuit 36 into the inhibition state and activates the voltage step-down circuit 34 so as to generate regenerative power, and when the rotation speed is equal to the voltage step-down determination speed or less, stops the voltage step-down circuit 34 and brings the stationary driving circuit 36 into the permission state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】フリーフォール動作を行いながら回生電力を安全に回収できる電動ウインチの駆動装置を提供する。【解決手段】駆動装置は、交流電動機16と、直流電源30と、インバータ32と、インバータ32と直流電源30との間に介在する降圧回路34と、この降圧回路34と並列に設けられ、当該降圧回路34をバイパスして前記インバータ32から前記直流電源30への電流の流れ込みを許容する許容状態と阻止する阻止状態とに切換可能な定常駆動回路36と、フリーフォール制御部と、を備える。フリーフォール制御部は、交流電動機16の巻下げ方向の回転速度が降圧判定速度を超えかつウインチドラムの制動の指示がある場合に定常駆動回路36を阻止状態にして前記降圧回路34を作動させることにより回生電力を生じさせ、前記回転速度が前記降圧判定速度以下である場合に前記降圧回路34を停止させて前記定常駆動回路36を許容状態にする。【選択図】図2
