PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate and output driving current generating desired pressing force with accuracy and at a high speed.SOLUTION: A pressing driving device 100 includes: a body 1 to be pressed; pressing bodies 2a and 2b; an electric actuator 51; a current measuring section 61; and a control section 6. The pressing bodies 2a and 2b press the body 1 to be pressed. The electric actuator 51 allows the pressing bodies 2a and 2b to press the body 1 to be pressed. The current measuring section 61 measures a current I of a driving source 65. The control section 6 controls driving of the electric actuator 51. The control section 6 determines a current-load rate by a measurement current Iand a pressing load fof the pressing bodies 2a and 2b at an inflection point and a measurement current Iand a pressing load fof the pressing bodies at a driving initial time. After that, the control section 6 calculates a target current value Iat which the electric actuator 51 allows the pressing bodies 2a and 2b to generate pressing to be a target load value F using the current-load rate and supplies power having the target current value Ito the electric actuator 51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
