PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aerodynamic force calculation technology capable of further accurately calculating aerodynamic force acting on a traveling vehicle than a conventional manner, even in a state of unsteadily varying in an air flow or a cross wind received by the traveling vehicle.SOLUTION: A vehicle aerodynamic force calculation device for calculating aerodynamic force acting on a traveling vehicle of the present invention, includes means for acquiring a deflection rocking angle of an air flow received by the vehicle, means for acquiring at least one vehicle motion parameter among a slip angle, a yaw rate and a roll rate of the vehicle and means for calculating aerodynamic force by using a calculation model including a component being a function of the deflection rocking angle and a component being a function of the vehicle motion parameter, and a component being the function of the vehicle motion parameter includes a component being a function of the product of the vehicle motion parameter and the deflection rocking angle. The calculation model may also include a component being a function of a time differential value of the deflection rocking angle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】 走行中の車両が受ける空気流又は横風が非定常的に変動する状況に於いても、走行中の車両に作用する空気力を、従前に比して、より精度良く算定可能な空気力算定技術を提供すること。【解決手段】 本発明の走行中の車両に作用する空気力を算定する車両空気力算定装置は、車両が受ける空気流の偏揺角を取得する手段と、車両のスリップ角、ヨーレート及びロールレートのうちの少なくとも一つの車両運動パラメータを取得する手段と、偏揺角の関数である成分と、車両運動パラメータの関数である成分とを含む計算モデルを用いて空気力を算定する手段とを含み、車両運動パラメータの関数である成分が車両運動パラメータと偏揺角との積の関数である成分を含む。また、計算モデルは、更に偏揺角の時間微分値の関数である成分を含んでいてもよい。【選択図】 図4
