PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ship propulsion system which is easily operated and comprises a plurality of shafts with stabilized output, and a ship having the propulsion system.SOLUTION: The ship propulsion system comprises: a first driving source 12; a first propeller shaft 16 connected with the first driving source; a first screw propeller 20 fixed to the first propeller shaft; a second driving source 14 having an output characteristics different from that of the first driving source; a second propeller shaft 18 connected with the second driving source; a second screw propeller 22 fixed to the second propeller shaft; a control device 24 which controls driving of the first driving source and the second driving source; and a torque sensor 27 which detects torque of the second propeller shaft. The control device can switch between an independent mode in which the first driving source and the second driving source are independently controlled and a follow-up mode in which driving of the first driving source is controlled based on detection result of the torque sensor so that output of the first driving source follows output of the second driving source.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】簡単に操作ができ、かつ、複数の軸からの出力を安定させる船舶推進システムおよびこれを有する船舶を提供する。【解決手段】第1駆動源12と、第1駆動源に連結された第1プロペラシャフト16と、第1プロペラシャフトに固定された第1スクリュープロペラ20と、第1駆動源とは出力特性が異なる第2駆動源14と、第2駆動源に連結された第2プロペラシャフト18と、第2プロペラシャフトに固定された第2スクリュープロペラ22と、第1駆動源と第2駆動源の駆動を制御する制御装置24と、第2プロペラシャフトのトルクを検出するトルクセンサ27と、を有し、制御装置は、第1駆動源と第2駆動源を別々に制御する独立モードと、トルクセンサの検出結果に基づいて第1駆動源の駆動を制御することで第2駆動源の出力に第1駆動源の出力を追従させる追従モードと、を切り換え可能である。【選択図】図1
