PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic master cylinder for a bar handle vehicle, capable of improving the supply performance of a hydraulic fluid to a hydraulic controller disposed in a liquid passage connecting a front wheel brake to the liquid chamber of a hydraulic master cylinder while achieving a reduction in number of components and miniaturization.SOLUTION: A pair of cup seals is fitted into the cylinder hole 11c of a hydraulic master cylinder 1, and a plunger 16 is movably inserted into the cylinder hole 11c via the cup seals. A liquid chamber 11g is formed on the outer peripheral side of the cylinder hole between the pair of cup seals so as to be communicated with the liquid storage chamber 12a of a reservoir 12 via a liquid through-hole 12b. The plunger 16 is formed into a bottomed cylindrical shape having a recess 16d opened on a cylinder hole bottom side, and a hydraulic chamber 17 is defined between the recess 16d and the bottom part of the cylinder hole 11c. A plurality of communication holes 16e are formed on the peripheral wall of the recess 16d so as to penetrate the peripheral wall inside and outside and communicate the hydraulic chamber 17 and the liquid chamber 11g with each other at an initial position during a non-operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】部品点数の減少と小型化とを図りながら、液圧マスタシリンダの液圧室と前輪ブレーキとを繋ぐ液通路に配置された液圧制御装置への作動液の補給性を向上させることができるバーハンドル車両用液圧マスタシリンダを提供する。【解決手段】液圧マスタシリンダ1のシリンダ孔11cに、一対のカップシール,を嵌着し、該カップシール,を介して、シリンダ孔11cにプランジャ16を移動可能に内挿する。一対のカップシール,間のシリンダ孔外周側に、液通孔12bを介してリザーバ12の貯液室12aに連通する液室11gを形成する。プランジャ16は、シリンダ孔底部側に開口する凹部16dを有する有底円筒状に形成され、凹部16dとシリンダ孔11cの底部との間に液圧室17が画成される。凹部16dの周壁に、該周壁の内外に貫通し、非作動時の初期位置で液圧室17と液室11gとを連通する複数の連通ポート16eを形成する。【選択図】 図1
