PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ship propulsion machine which can prevent switching operation of rotation regions of an accelerator grip from becoming complex while allowing a user to recognize the switching of the rotation regions of the accelerator grip, and can perform the switching operation of the rotation regions of the accelerator grip smoothly.SOLUTION: A ship propulsion machine comprises a power source, a steering handle extending forward with respect to the power source, and an accelerator grip movably attached to the steering handle. A movement region of the accelerator grip includes: a forward rotation region 910 capable of rotating the accelerator grip around a rotation axis to obtain a driving force in a forward direction from the power source; a backward rotation region 920 capable of rotating the accelerator grip around the rotation axis to obtain a driving force in a backward direction from the power source; and an axis movement region 930 provided between the forward rotation region 910 and the backward rotation region 920, and capable of moving the accelerator grip in an extension direction of the rotation axis.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】ユーザがアクセルグリップの回転領域が切り替わることを認識しつつ、アクセルグリップの回転領域を切り替える操作が煩雑になるのを抑制することが可能で、かつ、アクセルグリップの回転領域を切り替える操作をスムーズに行うことが可能な船舶推進機を提供する。【解決手段】この船舶推進機は、動力源と、動力源に対し前方に延びた操舵用ハンドルと、操舵用ハンドルに移動可能に取り付けられたアクセルグリップとを備える。アクセルグリップの移動領域は、前進方向への駆動力を動力源から得るためにアクセルグリップを回転軸線周りに回転操作可能な前進回転領域910と、後進方向への駆動力を動力源から得るためにアクセルグリップを回転軸線周りに回転操作可能な後進回転領域920と、前進回転領域910と後進回転領域920との間に設けられ、アクセルグリップを回転軸線が延びる方向に移動可能な軸移動領域930とを含む。【選択図】図3
