PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering shaft lock structure which enables improvement of the flexibility of an attachment position and an attachment direction of a lock device.SOLUTION: A steering shaft lock structure includes: a head pipe (2) rotatably supporting a steering shaft (3); an upper bracket (4) connected with the steering shaft (3); and a lock device (12) attached to the upper bracket (4). The lock device (12) has a lock pin (13) which extends or retracts in a radial direction of the steering shaft (3) and includes an extension member (21) fixed to the head pipe (2). An engagement hole (22), which may be engaged with the lock pin (13) according to extending or retracting movement of the lock pin (13), is formed in the extension member (21).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
