PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output a reliable train approach warning by improving the accuracy of warning issuance timing regarding train approach.SOLUTION: A train approach warning system (1) comprises a train approach warning terminal (2) to be carried by an operator and a train approach warning server (3) which communicates with the train approach warning terminal. The train approach warning server includes arrival prediction means (33) for detecting the entry of a train into a predetermined closed section individually set for the train approach warning terminal based on the current position information for the train approach warning terminal and the on-rail position information for the train, and obtaining a predicted time required from the entry of the train into the predetermined closed section to arrival at the current position of the train approach warning terminal by using a standard required time to pass each unit distance in kilometers between stations which is calculated based on a run curve. The train approach warning terminal issues a warning at a warning timing before the predetermined time of train arrival prediction based on the predicted time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】列車接近に関する警報の発生タイミングの精度を改善し、信頼性の高い列車接近警報を出力できるようにすること。【解決手段】作業員が携帯する列警端末(2)と、列警端末と通信する列警サーバ(3)とを備えて列車接近警報システム(1)が構成される。列警サーバは、列警端末の現在位置情報と、列車の在線位置情報とに基づいて、列警端末に対して個別に定められる所定の閉塞区間に列車が進入したことを検知し、所定の閉塞区間に列車が進入してから、列警端末の現在位置に到達するまでに要する予想時間を、ランカーブをもとに算定され駅間の各キロ程を通過するのに要する標準所要時間を用いて求める到達予想手段(33)を備えている。列警端末は、予想時間に基づいて列車到達予想の所定時間前となる警報タイミングに警報を発生する。【選択図】図1
