PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To definitize operation timing of a driving device of a door latch unit and reduce the size of a cam body.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, a driving device of a vehicle door latch unit comprises a neutral switch 45 which separates from a first cam surface 47 to change from ON to OFF when an automatic closing function by a motor 38 operates; and a gear detection switch 46 which separates a second cam surface 48 to change from ON to OFF when the automatic closing function by the motor 38 operates. The automatic closing function is configured to operate in response to change of a ratchet switch 32 from OFF to ON, and ends in response to change of the neutral switch 45 from OFF to ON. The second cam surface 48 is set at a height where the second cam surface dots not abut on the neutral switch 45, and linked to an end of the first cam surface 47.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6

    【課題】ドアラッチユニットの駆動装置の作動タイミングの明確化と、カム体の小型化。【解決手段】本発明は、モータ38によるオートクローズ機能が作動すると第1カム面47から離脱してONからOFFに切り替わる中立スイッチ45と、前記モータ38によるオートクローズ機能が作動すると第2カム面48から離脱してONからOFFに切り替わるギア検出スイッチ46とを備える。オートクローズ機能はラチェットスイッチ32のOFFからONへの切替を起点として作動し、中立スイッチ45のOFFからONへの切替により終了させる構成とする。前記第2カム面48は前記中立スイッチ45とは当接しない高さとに設定して前記第1カム面47の端部に連接する。【選択図】図6
