PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus which can determine the passing direction and the stop position of a train in a station yard with only equipment installed in the train.SOLUTION: A train has a storage device for storing a station yard railroad information table including positional information on all points on available routes in a station yard and data on the passing direction of the train at the points. Positional information momentarily inputted by a positioning device in the train is compared with the station yard railroad information table. When the inputted positional information matches with the positional information on any of the points and when a yaw angle outputted by a gyro sensor in the train matches with the passing direction determined by the yaw angle of the point registered in the station yard railroad information table, it is determined that the train has passed by the point toward the direction registered in the station yard railroad information table.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】車上に搭載した機器のみで、構内における列車の通過方向および停止位置を判定することができる方法および装置を提供する。【解決手段】構内の可能なルート上の全てのポイントの位置情報およびポイントにおける通過方向のデータを記憶させた構内線路情報テーブルを車上に備え、車上の測位装置から時々刻々入力する位置情報を構内線路情報テーブルと照合し、入力した位置情報がいずれかのポイントの位置情報と一致したとき、車上のジャイロセンサが出力するヨー角が、そのポイントについて構内線路情報テーブルに登録されているヨー角から判断される通過方向と一致したときは、そのポイントを構内線路情報テーブルに登録されている方向に通過したと判定する。【選択図】図1
