PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lateral collision shock absorbing resin pad for a vehicle, which is suitable for reduction of the hand work man-hour or the die modification cost in the development of the lateral collision shock absorbing resin pad, and preventing delay of developing schedule for the lateral collision shock absorbing resin pad due to processing time of the hand work or occurrence of the die modification period.SOLUTION: A lateral collision shock absorbing resin pad 1 for a vehicle includes a resin pad body 2 that is formed to be a cup-shaped by a top board 2A and lateral plates 2A, 2B, 2C, and 2D integrally arranged at the outer peripheral edge of the top board. The lateral collision shock absorbing resin pad is installed between a vehicle body panel P and a door trim T and used as shock absorbing means during the lateral collision. Opposite grooves 3, 3 that are grooves facing each other is arranged inside of the lateral plates. Performance of the resin pad body 2 against the lateral collision shock can be adjusted based on performance of a resin plate 4A fitted into the opposite grooves.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】側突衝撃吸収樹脂パッドの開発におけるハンドワーク工数や型改修費の削減、並びに、ハンドワーク加工時間や型改修期間の発生による側突衝撃吸収樹脂パッド開発日程の遅れを防止するのに好適な車両の側突衝撃吸収樹脂パッドを提供する。【解決手段】車両の側突衝撃吸収樹脂パッド1は、天板2Aとその外周縁に一体に設けた側板4A、4B、4C、4Dとによりカップ状に形成された樹脂パッド体2からなるとともに、車体パネルPとドアトリムTとの間に設置され、側突時の衝撃を吸収する手段として用いられる。そして、前記側板の内面には、互いに向かい合う溝として対向溝3、3が設けられ、この対向溝に嵌込む樹脂板4Aの性能により側突時の衝撃に対する樹脂パッド体2の性能の調整を可能とした。【選択図】図1
