PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel tank structure which makes a restriction band unnecessary and makes suppression of vertical deformation of a resinous tank main body possible by using an inexpensive constitution.SOLUTION: Contact parts 5 each having a contact surface 5a brought into contact with a floor member are formed on four portions of a tank main body 1, and a groove part 5b which is depressed in a hollow shape in an inner direction of the tank main body 1 is formed on a part of a region which is not brought into contact with the floor member as the circumference of the contact part 5 in such a state that the contact surface 5a is brought into contact with the floor member. Thereby, the rigidity of the groove part 5b can be decreased, when an inner pressure of the tank main body 1 is raised by vaporization of gasoline, the tank main body 1 can be forcibly deformed on a formation portion of the groove part 5 having a low rigidity, therefore, the tank main body 1 is deformed on the groove part 5b, thereby, vertical swelling of the tank main body 1 is absorbed and, especially, the deformation to the lower side can be suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】拘束バンドを不要にし、安価な構成により、樹脂製のタンク本体の上下への変形を抑制できるようにする。【解決手段】フロア部材に当接する当接面5aを有する当接部5をタンク本体1に4箇所形成し、当接面5aがフロア部材に当接した状態で、当接部5の周囲であってフロア部材に当接しない領域の一部にタンク本体1の内側方向に凹状に窪んだ溝部5bを形成する。これにより、溝部5bの剛性を下げることができ、ガソリンの気化によってタンク本体1の内圧が上昇したときに、剛性の低い溝部5の形成箇所でタンク本体1を強制的に変形させることができるため、タンク本体1が溝部5bで変形することにより、タンク本体1の上下への膨らみを吸収して特に下方への変形を抑制することができる。【選択図】図1
