PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backup system of a waste disposal device for railway vehicle which can operate a waste disposal device by supplying power and compressed air to the waste disposal device at the time of power failure.SOLUTION: At the time of power failure, an electrical connection state between a normal power source 20 and a waste disposal device 10 and an electrical connection state between a main battery 30 and an auxiliary electrical air compression device 40 are shut down, and an electrical connection state between a backup battery 50 and the waste disposal device 10 and an electrical connection state between the backup battery 50 and the auxiliary electrical air compression device 40 are secured. Power of the backup battery 50 thus can be supplied to the waste disposal device 10 and the auxiliary electrical air compression device 40, and changeover is made from a state where compressed air is supplied to the waste disposal device 10 through a main pipeline to a state where the compressed air is supplied to the waste disposal device 10 through an auxiliary pipeline. Consequently, the compressed air generated by the auxiliary electrical air compression device 40 can be send to the waste disposal device 10 at the time of power failure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
【課題】停電時に汚物処理装置に電力及び圧縮空気を供給して、汚物処理装置を作動させることができる鉄道車両用汚物処理装置のバックアップシステムを提供すること。【解決手段】停電時に、通常電源20と汚物処理装置10との電気的な接続状態、及びメインバッテリ30と補助電動空気圧縮装置40との電気的な接続状態が遮断され、且つバックアップバッテリ50と汚物処理装置10との電気的な接続状態、及びバックアップバッテリ50と補助電動空気圧縮装置40との電気的な接続状態が確保される。よって、バックアップバッテリ50の電力を汚物処理装置10及び補助電動空気圧縮装置40に供給できる。また、圧縮空気がメイン配管を通って汚物処理装置10に供給される状態から、補助配管を通って汚物処理装置10に供給される状態へ切換わる。こうして、停電時に、補助電動空気圧縮装置40が生成した圧縮空気を汚物処理装置10に送り込むことができる。【選択図】 図6
