PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a derailment detection device which can detect derailment that means a flange of a wheel runs on a rail or travels on a track slab.SOLUTION: Information relating to a rotation speed of a flange 27 is acquired, and a primary frequency of primary rotation of a flange outer circumference 27a is acquired. The flange outer circumference 27a has a larger diameter than a tread 26a of a wheel 26. Therefore, when the flange 27 rolls on a rail R and a track slab, the primary frequency, that is characteristic of the incomplete-round flange 27, appears. When acceleration at the primary frequency or a processing value of the acceleration is equal to or more than a threshold, it is determined that a railway vehicle 1 derails. Thus, derailment, which means the flange 27 of the wheel 26 runs on the rail R or travels on the track slab, can be detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】車輪のフランジがレールの上にせり上がったり軌道スラブの上を走行したりする脱線を検知できる脱線検知装置を提供すること。【解決手段】フランジ27の回転数に関する情報を取得し、フランジ外周27aの回転1次の1次周波数を取得する。フランジ外周27aは車輪26の踏面26aより直径が大きいので、フランジ27がレールRや軌道スラブを転動すると、非真円なフランジ27に特有な1次周波数が現れる。この1次周波数における加速度またはその加速度の処理値が閾値以上である場合に鉄道車両1が脱線したと判定されるので、車輪26のフランジ27がレールRの上にせり上がったり軌道スラブの上を走行したりする脱線を検知できる。【選択図】図2
