PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aerial imaging apparatus capable of improving wind resistance and capable of being easily moved to a target place.SOLUTION: An aerial imaging apparatus 10 includes a balloon 11, a radio-controlled helicopter 12 that is attached to the balloon 11, and imaging equipment 13 for being operated by radio control. The balloon 11 is formed in a spheroidal shape, and its inside is filled with helium gas. The ratio L2/L1 of the minor-axis-direction length L2 of the balloon 11 to the major-axis-direction length L1 thereof is set to be in the range of 0.55 or larger and 0.65 or smaller.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
