PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance detection accuracy of a pressure tube type pedestrian collision detection sensor.SOLUTION: In an upper absorber 30, an absorber upper end part 40 is integrally provided above an absorber body part 32 fixed to a front face 20F of a bumper RF20. In the absorber upper end part 40, a projection 42 projecting rearward with respect to the absorber body part 32 is disposed above the bumper RF20. A groove part 36 is formed on a rear face 32R of the absorber body part 32. The groove part 36 is adjacent to the lower side of the absorber upper end part 40. The absorber upper end part 40 in non-contact with the front face 20F of the bumper RF20 constitutes an upper side portion of the groove part 36. When a collision load is applied to the upper absorber 30, no reaction force from the front face 20F of the bumper RF20 is applied to the absorber upper end part 40. Thus, the absorber upper end part 40 is displaced rearward and a pressure tube 52 is pressed by the upper part of the absorber body part 32 suitably.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】圧力チューブ式歩行者衝突検知センサの検知精度を高くする。【解決手段】アッパアブソーバ30では、バンパRF20の前面20Fに固定されたアブソーバ本体部32の上側にアブソーバ上端部40が一体に設けられている。アブソーバ上端部40では、アブソーバ本体部32に対して後側へ突出した突出部42がバンパRF20の上側に配置されている。さらに、アブソーバ本体部32の後面32Rには溝部36が形成され、溝部36はアブソーバ上端部40の下側に隣接している。このため、バンパRF20の前面20Fに当接しないアブソーバ上端部40が、溝部36の上側部分を構成する。これにより、衝突荷重がアッパアブソーバ30に作用したときには、アブソーバ上端部40にはバンパRF20の前面20Fからの反力が作用しないため、アブソーバ上端部40が後側へ変位して、圧力チューブ52がアブソーバ本体部32の上部によって良好に押圧される。【選択図】図1
