PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive device 1 that can downsize a physical constitution in a motor axial direction.SOLUTION: A substrate 40 that mounts an electronic component 41 for controlling drive of a motor 10 of a drive device 1 is provided vertically to a motor shaft O inside a cover 60 provided at one side in an axial direction of the motor 10. A connector 50 provided at the motor side of the substrate 40 has an opening where an external terminal can be connected, radially outward to the motor shaft O. A heat sink 30 that can absorb heat generated by the electronic component 41 mounted on the substrate 40, integrally has: a frame end part 31 for covering the substrate side of the motor 10; and a heat receiving part 32 that extends from the frame end part 31 toward the substrate side, radially inside from the connector 50. Thereby, a large thermal capacity of the heat sink 30 can be secured within a height range of the connector 50 without forming a useless space inside a bottomed cylindrical cover 60 that covers the substrate 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5

    【課題】モータ軸方向の体格を小型化可能な駆動装置1を提供する。【解決手段】 駆動装置1のモータ10の駆動を制御する電子部品41が実装された基板40は、モータ10の軸方向の一方に設けられたカバー60の内側でモータ軸Oに対して垂直に設けられる。基板40のモータ側に設けられたコネクタ50は、外部端子が接続可能な開口部をモータ軸Oに対して径外方向に有する。基板40に実装された電子部品41が発生する熱を吸収可能なヒートシンク30は、モータ10の基板側を覆うフレームエンド部31と、コネクタ50よりも径内側でフレームエンド部31から基板側へ延びる受熱部32を一体に有する。これにより、基板40を覆う有底筒状のカバー60の内側に無駄な空間を形成することなく、コネクタ50の高さ範囲内でヒートシンク30の熱容量を大きく確保することが可能である。【選択図】 図5
