PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-wing type rudder which is rationalized so as to have essential functions of a rudder, including turning performance and course keeping performance, comparable with or better than those attainable with ordinary rudders, even when the dimension of a ship in the longitudinal direction is shorter than ordinary rudders and a ship with a three-wing type rudder.SOLUTION: A three-blade type ruder includes a central wing 30 which is arranged in the rear of a propeller 12 fitted to the stern part 11 of a hull 10 and is driven by drive means 21 through a steering shaft 22, sub-wings 40A and 40b arranged on the right and left sides of the central wing 30 and a rudder connection structure 50 connecting the central wing 30 and the two sub-wings 40A and 40B individually. The area ratio of one of the sub-wings 40A and 40B to the central wing 30 is 0.25 or higher, and the area ratio of the forward area of the steering shaft, or the total of the central wing 30 and the two sub-wings 40A and 40B, to the backward area is 20:80 to 40:60.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】船の長さ方向の寸法が通常の舵より短くても、旋回性能や保針性能といった舵が持つべき機能を、通常の舵と同程度又はそれ以上に持つことが可能な合理化を図った3翼式舵及び3翼式舵付き船舶を提供する。【解決手段】船体10の船尾部11に取り付けられたプロペラ12の後方に設置し、舵軸22を介して駆動手段21により駆動される中央翼30と、中央翼30の左右に配置した2つの副翼40A、40Bと、中央翼30と2つの副翼40A、40Bとをそれぞれ連結する舵連結構造50とを備え、片側の副翼40A、40Bの中央翼30に対する面積比が0.25以上であり、かつ中央翼30と2つの副翼40A、40Bとの合計した舵軸22の前方面積と後方面積の前後面積比が20対80から40対60の範囲であることを特徴とする。【選択図】図1
